June 26 – 2 Zero Days

Sometimes a detour IS the best route!
~ Rockin’

Well not to be too confusing… in a nutshell, I had some ride dilemmas and snow reroute problems, so we are heading back down to Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains to do a 75 mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail (my son is going to help with a car shuttle) and hopefully climb a couple of peaks 🙂 I will then get a ride back up north in a few days to finish up the last 2 weeks of this adventure!

I feel great, body is holding up well, equipment is good, a hot shower was glorious, and I love the thru-hiking life. I am excited about seeing the area my son works in (Lake Arrowhead) on the dirt without a car’s view. So now I’ll be takin’ ya all down south for a few miles. Thank you again for reading and your comments.

Good Luck with that. It’s going to be hot down there. I hope there is plenty of water.

  2. Anxious to see some pictures and hear if it was hot. Hopefully you got to spend some time with Grant.
