One day I undertook a tour through the country, and the diversity and beauties of nature I met with in this charming season, expelled every gloomy and vexatious thought. ~Daniel Boone

Town of Coleman to above Alexander Creek – 19.1 miles
It will always amaze me how a hot shower, clean clothes, and a great meal can restore a body. At 8:00 am we drank coffee and ate breakfast at The Crowsnest Cafe and Fly Shop in Coleman. I highly recommend this little healthy cafe.
After packing up 7 days of food we walked out of town at 10:00 am. Today was easy walking on jeep roads with thunderstorms and rain off and on. My camera was put up most of the day, so I took very few pics.
A few trucks that were on dirt roads stopped to talk to us. We felt like celebrities. They just couldn’t get their minds around the fact that we were walking so far. In the second truck a woman and a man really couldn’t believe it. She just kept repeating, ”You know there’s nothing but bush out there!”
Funny how what we are doing seems so natural to us, but is simply mind boggling to some natives here in Canada.
Looks like you found a great spot to camp.
Dan’l Boone ‘d be awful proud of ya.
People here try to give me a ride to my car when they know I parked a mile away on purpose.
And look at your surroundings! Of course you are walking.
That first photo is just like a painting. Great photography!!
I understand you weren’t able to take pictures but I miss them.
