I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

I am surrounded by 7 tents and 9 thru-hikers with raindrops pitter pattering on my thin cuben fiber tent. This is the first test run of my Skyscape X tent. Scary.
After a very generous ride back to Monarch Pass, Wired and I started hiking around 10:00. Many hikers were getting back on the trail today and it was fun to hike and camp with everyone: Bloodbath, Rampage, Strider, Sweetfish, Love Note, Ninja, and Drop n Roll.
It was a great day for hiking with cool temps, lush forests, high elevation (again), and super company.
Gear Love: Zpacks pillow stuff sack. During the day it is my waterproof clothing bag and at night I turn it inside out and it has a cozy fleece lining. Much better than a stuff sack.
Gorgeous mountain landscapes – thanks for sharing. Great to hear – implicitly – that you are acclimatising, and enjoying even more your journey.
Cheers

Those are some amazing views there! And I love the foot shot as well – feet with such personality!
Surprised to hear so soon. Hope you were able to stay dry. Really like the rainbow picture. Hope Silly finds you soon. Onward . . .
I love those last two photos. That shelter shot is awesome, TT Notch, Skyscape X, Zpacks Hex and others. Wow. Would like to try them all. And those toes all lined up is a pretty neat perspective as well.
It was like an ultralight tent fest. Great way to shop for a tent.
BTW, the feet — I love the feet! Well — and everything else!
More feet to come.
Spectacular photos!!! Most curious about rain gear reviews and sleeping snug and warm reviews.
You Rock Lady!! Bountiful Blessings to you and your trekking cronies!
Thanks! I will keep the review snips coming. Glad they are helpful. Hope you are getting outside a lot.
I think I love your carefully procured opening quotes most of all! PRESS ON!
BIG thanks. Great to know they aren’t annoying. It is fun figuring out the quote of the day in my tent at night.
