There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright….

  1. Love the title of this days post. I wish I could have done that with my mom or my wife for that matter. but it will never be due to health concerns. still, I love to share the trail with others. reveling in the majesty of the Makers World, no finer day can be had. Go!Rockin!Go! and Go!SillyChilly!Go! too!!

  2. If there’s a more wonderful, rewarding, touching activity than hiking with your son, I can’t think of one. Prayers for continued safety and joy during your travels!

  3. I was at Mt. Flora today hiking along the CDT and wondered how far you were going on the CDT….. we saw one thru hiker on the trail but never got to talk to him. it seems like we may have missed your group by just days! Hopefully the winds down’t bring you much ash and smoke.

    • Well hello. The plan right now is to hike to Old Faithful in Yellowstone. No smoke where we have hiked as of yet. Hope to see you on the trail.
