CD Calendar 2013

“A journey is best measured in friends rather than miles”
~Tim Cathill

In 2012, I was overwhelmed with gratefulness and amazement by you my readers. My subscribers and followers more that doubled this year, which is very cool.  You took the time out of your busy lives to share your stories, ideas, thoughts, and lives with this blog through reading, commenting, and email.  When I needed encouragement out there on the trail when things were not going so great, you were there and I counted on it. Thank you for your ongoing feedback, support, and following along.  It is such a super feeling to know that others feel and care about the outdoors as much as I do.

Thank you, thank you everyone for coming along side life’s wild adventure and I am looking forward to sharing lots of new journeys in the New Year.

It is back…my annual CD calendar. During the holidays I had more fun making and giving these beautiful little inspirations. The photos on the calendars are from my outdoor adventures and fit into a CD jewel case. I love having this quick date and month reference on my desk. It is mighty handy.

As a huge thank you to my top commenters on this blog, I would like to send each of you a copy of my 2013 CD Calendar. It takes a lot of thought, time, and sometimes wrangling with a computer or mobile device to share your words in that little comment box. Thank you! I will contact you lucky folks soon by email for your mailing addresses.

  1. I’m on the February calendar page now (as is everone else!). The big Sequoia’s are beautiful. Christy, excellent photograhpy contrasting the bare trunk of one of them in the sunlight verses most the surround trees covered in snow.

I really love this calendar idea. Takes up less space on my desk yet adds so much more beauty.

  2. I am one of the fortunate ones that already have one of your calendars. It is ALWAYS one of my favorite gifts. Thank you for taking the time to produce one each year. I have kept all the past ones too.

    • Clare, so glad you enjoy them. Just one more motivation for me to keep getting out to beautiful places so I can keep creating desk art. I now have sent all the calendars to the lucky followers and they should be getting them in the mail today. Enjoy!

      • Lovin’ mine! Perfect size to get the job done and beautiful photos to glance at for a quick break from it all.

  3. Wow, That is a beautifully done calender! I love desk sized art!
    Happy New Year!

    • Hello Elise,
You are so right! Sometimes just looking at a beautiful photo while at work can make a stressful day, bearable. I just love that anyone can make one to enjoy. Happy New Year to you. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Rockin,

As always, I look forward to your posts. Great idea for a small but useful desk calendar. And the photos are great. Hope you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful New Year. God’s best to your and your family.
